Zaiden turned 1 today. He is such a fun little baby. For the most part his is always smiling and is such a character. Don't get me wrong...he does have his moments of crying and fussing but he also has a really cute personality and he is soooo cute (of course, I am the mom - I should think that right?) :) He did hit another milestone today other than turning 1...he took his first steps! He has been standing on his own for about a week now and then today he took a few steps. Grandpa and Grandma Mortensen worked with him for a little while walking back and forth to them. He loves getting praise and clapping! Some of his other accomplishments in this past year have been:
1 - 6 teeth (4 up top and 2 down below)!
2 - He says "Mom, Dad, ba ba (bottle), NO (While shaking his head)!, J.J., Sissa (Alyssa)and my favorite...uh oh (when he drops something to the floor or something is wrong"!
3 - He dances! Anytime there is music on he will dance. It looks more like he is shaking his head no but with a little more body movement!
4 - He give big hugs and open mouth kisses! Yum!
5 - He's not that great of a napper during the day but he does sleep at least 12 hours through the night!
6 - He's got cuteness down!

Hey Brian, remember me? David and Rashel have both found me on Facebook and through blog surfing I found you. It has teken me a while to leave a comment (chicken). Happy birthday to Zaiden!! I didn't realize McKenzie and Zaiden had birthdays a couple days apart. When are you guys moving? Sorry we don't get to see much of your family, but life with four active kids is crazy. We can always be found in a pool of water if your ever looking for us. :)
