My friend DeAnne posted this recipe on her blog a while back and I just tried making them last week. We had some friends over to try them out with us and they said they liked them too (and they are still alive so it didn't kill them...thank goodness ;) !) We even had leftovers and they were even better the next day! Very good recipe DeAnne...Thanks for sharing! Here it is:
Turkey Burgers
1 lb ground turkey
1/3 cup green onions (finely chopped)
1 egg
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbs. lemon juice
1/3 cup Italian Bread crumbs
Mix all this together form into patties. Cook with olive oil on medium to high for 8 min. each side or until golden brown. (We cooked them on the grill and didn't use olive oil, but you can use an electric skillet)
Sauce
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayo (I use light)
1/2 cup finely chopped cucumber
1 Tbs. dill weed
1 Tbs. lemon juice (I used lime juice and it worked just fine too)
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper (if you don't like spicy don't add so much)
Mix all together. It is suppose to be thick and creamy. I make rice and serve the turkey burger over the rice and then top with the sauce. It is delicious! Try them!

this sounds SO good! I love it when people post good recipes. Can't wait to try them. I finally played the tag you gave me awhile ago...so fun. Some of our answers were exactly alike. We must be related. I love your baby viewer too...only 173 days!
